1. Booking Terms
All bookings made with Gel It with J are subject to these terms and conditions. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms.
Bookings are automatically confirmed through our booking system. However, we reserve the right to decline any booking that doesn't fit our policies or schedule.
A booking fee representing a percentage of the service cost is required to secure your appointment. During busy periods, a full payment is requested up-front at the point of booking. This fee is non-refundable.
2. Payment Terms
Payment for services is due at the end of your appointment.
We accept payment by card, bank transfer, or cash.
All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
Services are non-refundable once completed. If you're unhappy with your service, please speak to us immediately so we can address any concerns.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We require 72 hours notice for all cancellations or rescheduling requests.
Cancellations made with less than 72 hours notice will forfeit the booking fee.
No-shows will be charged the full service amount and may be refused future bookings.
To cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible through your booking confirmation.
4. Health, Safety and Consultation Requirements
Some services require a consultation form to be completed before your appointment. You'll be notified if this applies to your booking.
Please inform us of any allergies, skin conditions, or health concerns that may affect your treatment.
Our nail room is located upstairs and requires using a staircase. Please let us know if you have any mobility concerns.
Children are not permitted in the treatment area for safety reasons. Please arrange childcare before your appointment.
There is also a dog onsite - if you are allergic the advice is to not have your service here; any other concerns please contact us straight away to make the necessary adjustments
5. Client Responsibilities
Please arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrivals may result in reduced treatment time or unable to complete the service.
If you're feeling unwell or have any contagious conditions, please reschedule your appointment.
We maintain a professional environment and expect all clients to behave respectfully.
6. Data Protection
We handle all client data in compliance with GDPR regulations.
Your personal information is used solely for booking management, service delivery, and communication purposes (including marketing).
We will never share your data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time.
7. Liability and Disputes
While we take every care to ensure safe and professional service, clients use our services at their own risk.
We maintain appropriate insurance but cannot be held liable for any allergic reactions or adverse effects if you haven't disclosed relevant information.
Any disputes should first be raised directly with us so we can work towards a resolution.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
